SDS-Services - Real Training for Real People
About Us

"One must have the knowledge and skill to turn an attack against them into a window of opportunity for them"

Training Division:

The above quote is from our owner, Chris Reinke, and is our training philosophy. We believe in giving our students the confidence and courage to defend themselves, their family, or their business if the need arises.

SDS Services is family owned and specializes in real world self defense training for everyday citizens who have the desire to take their personal state of readiness to the next level. Our training programs are designed to be effective for a beginner as well as the advanced skill level. We strive to make our techniques easy to learn and to produce maximum effectiveness when used.

We are based out of Tulsa, Ok but operate mainly out of Morris, Ok. Morris is located 7 miles East of Okmulgee and about 20 miles North of Henryetta. We have had students come to us from as far as Blanchard, Oklahoma. We pride ourselves on being the choice of students so far away. However, we can and will come to you if needed. If your company or group would like us to come to you please don't hesitate to ask.

The biggest misconception with self defense is that most people automatically think that self defense is a hands on, physical defensive action designed to inflict pain and discomfort on your attacker in order to immobilize them to allow for escape, and in some cases that is the goal. However, self defense is just as much mental as physical and is about being able to read the and interpret what is actually going on around you or to you and being able to respond accordingly and quickly. There may come a time when you are caught completely by surprise and are now placed in a posistion where the only thing you can do is wait for the right moment. For most, that is extremely hard to do. Your first instinct is to react, self defense is like a chess match, every action is like a pawn being played. You must learn to be able to anticipate your attackers next move and move your pawns accordingly in order to get your attacker to do what you want them to and place yourself one step ahead of them. To your attacker this seems as though you are being submissive and compliant, which in some cases is exactly what you want to display in order to acheive your ultimate goal which is to safely remove yourself from the environment you are in.

The main goal of Self Defense is not to inflict pain, break bones, or kill, the main goal of self defense is to safely protect and or remove yourself from a dangerous or life threatening environment. The avenues you take to achieve that are up to you.

We operate a little different than most. We do not believe in quantity over quality. We do not strive to push as many students through our classes as possible like so many others. We keep our classes smaller in size and generally charge less than our competitors in order to provide the best possible training to our students as we can. The smaller size allows us to focus more on the training and not the time table associated with this type of training. What that means is, instead of sacrificing valuable training time in order to get 20-25 students through, we operate our classes with 10-12 students allowing us to focus more on complete training as well as giving us the ablity to spend one on one time with students if the need arises.

It has been said that society is broken down into three groups. The Sheep, the Wolf, and the Sheep Dog. The average law abiding citizen who lives their life with nothing less than good intentions is known as the sheep. The citizen who chooses to disregard the well being of their other fellow citizens and strip them of their security and confidence to live day to day life are known as the Wolves. Then you have the Sheep Dog. The Sheep Dog is the protector of the flock. The Sheep Dog will defend his flock without fear and without hesitation. Everyone has a little Sheep Dog in them wether they know it or not. As we mentioned before on the home page, success in a self defense situation does not always mean hands on tactics. If you feel that the best outcome is to give your attacker what they want, then do so. Being trained in self defense is nothing more than having a specialized set of tools at your disposal. However, you still must have the right tool for the job, and you must be trained to recognize what that tool is. That is where Sheep Dog Security Services comes in.

We offer a variety of training environments ranging from beginner to advanced and from children to adult. We strive to make our students feel comfortable and secure during all of our classes and to leave with the skills, confidence, and a better understanding of threat awareness in order to respond in a self defense or potential life threatening situation.

Real Training for Real People

What this means: Real People refers to everyday people who live normal everyday lives. Sadly those people are the ones who are victimized time and time again. It is our goal to reduce that number. All of our instructors are normal everyday people just like you. They have full time jobs, families, children, pets, hobbies, etc. Being trained does not mean you have to change your day to day life, day to day appearence, or day to day actions. Being trained means that throughout your day to day life, you will be able to recognize potential threats before they happen and respond to threats when they happen. The element of surprise is a powerful tool, criminals use this on their victims, when that element is turned on the attacker themselves it triggers the same response they just got from you. The only difference is, criminals use the threat of force instill fear on their victim, as a victim when you choose to turn the tables you are not using the threat of force, you are using force itself in a defensive situation, and potentially deadly force if the situation calls for it.

Although we do offer training programs for advanced individuals, our main student body is the everyday moms, dads, students, & ordinary everyday men and women who just want to be a little more prepared in an ever changing society.

Security Division:

We believe in giving our clients the secure piece of mind they deserve. Too many people are forced to live in fear day to day. Wether it be just leaving their house or working an 8 hour day constantly looking over their shoulder, not concentrating on what is most important.  We understand that your business dictates your way of life, and that when your business is disrupted your life is disrupted.

As an employer your employees safety is top priority, and in the world today, unfortunately, there are people who will take the life of another human simply for the money in ones pocket. Our agents protect our clients and their property as if it was their own, and constantly train to to develop their skills.

We demand that our agents maintain both physical and mental well being. Our agents are constantly trained on communication skills, defensive tactics, and firearms training as well as maintaining a CPR certification. Firearms training and requirements involve each agent firing at least 2000 rounds a year. That's 1,950 more than the state requires Police Officers to shoot every year.

If you or your company are in need of private security, please feel free to contact our staff and set up an appointment to speak with us. If you or your group are in need of training, please feel free to contact us. Thank you for visiting and reading about our company. We hope to serve you in the future.
