Training Courses
Basic Pistol Fundamentals:This is an 4-5 hour Firearms class that involves range time. You will need a firearm and 100-200 rounds of ammunition. In addition to the general firearms info and safety you will also be introduced to pistol shooting fundamentals, ammunition characteristics,metc. Students will be awarded a Certificate upon completion. Rental firearms available. Cost per person is $50.00
Intermediate Handgun:If you liked our Concealed Carry Class and were able to see improvement in just 50 rounds, you will love this course. Bring your lunch, bring your chair, gun, and ammo because we will be on the range most of the day. This class focuses on perfecting your fundamentals and introducing you to defensive manipulation of your weapon, as well as options for how, where, and what to carry. You must achieve accuracy before you can achieve speed successfully. You will be given more one on one attention, more practice, and more guidance. This class is 8-10 hours, mostly spent on the range. You will need your firearm, the one you carry if possible, 250 rounds MINIMUM (FACTORY), lunch, or money for lunch, ball cap, eye and ear protection, a chair, and a good attitude. Because of the nature of this class, our max student count per class is 12. We do that to ensure everyone is given enough one on one instruction. Upon completion, all students will be awarded a certificate, 550 paracord survival bracelet of their choice, and a SDS 3.5" round logo sticker. Cost per person is $75.00
Oklahoma Concealed Carry:This is your basic SDA Concealed Carry Class, 8 hours in length. You will need a firearm and 50 rounds of factory ammuntion, NO RELOADS. Lunch or money for lunch, valid Oklahoma ID, be 18 (21 TO FILE) years of age or older, baseball style hat and eye protection, a folding chair for the range if you would like, pen and paper for notes. Targets and ear protection provided. If you don't have a gun don't worry, 9mm rental is $10.00 or $22.00 with ammunition, .380 rental is $10.00 or $25.00 with ammunition. Cost per student is $25.00.
CCW + Intermediate Handgun Bundle Pack: This is a 2 day course, Saturday and Sunday. Day 1 is the Concealed Carry Class, Day 2 is the Intermediate Handgun Course.
This course will be identified on the schedule as bundle pack 2 day course. Take advantage of both courses and pay and discounted tuition. Cost per student is $85.00
Urban Survivial: Curriculum Under Review. This will be a complete scenario based class, designed to simulate extreme stress under violent circumstances. This class will test your ability to repsond appropriately and accurately. You will use simunition weapons and protective gear, provided by SDS. If you are up for a challenge and would rather know how you will respond rather than think you know, this class is for you. Cost per student is $150.00
Taser X26, X2, X26C, C2: Prefer less lethal. The Taser is an extremely effective weapon, and the best part is, nobody expects it. We offer these classes for civilians as well as offer Law Enforcement Certification Classes for the X26 and X2. We have Taser International Certified Instructors. Please call for pricing.
Private Training: We understand that some people train and learn better with one on one coaching. We offer private one on one training, and private couples training. Many times, although more expensive, a person can comprehend a greater amount of information in a shorter amount of time simply because it's all focused in one direction at one person. If this is a direction you would like take please contact us. We would love to help.Cost per person is $25.00 / hour per person. No more than 2 students for a private training session.
Corporate Services / Guest Speaking:In todays world, corporate team building is more important than ever. If you would like to send your team to a self defense class, Concealed Carry Class, or other class, we are your answer. Group classes for co-workers build team work, unity, compassion, and respect & admiration for their employer. They are also a great way to relieve stress and tension, as well as allow the students to be more within their comfort zone because they are in company they know and interact with on a regular basis. Self Defense / Hand to Hand Seminars:We offer men's and women's self defense classes. They are 4 hour classes and you will be introduced to defensive postures, physical engagement, and close quarter tactics. This is not 100% lecture, this is a hands on physical class. You will be working with other students on each drill. Cost per person is $50.00 with a minimum of 8 students for a class.
Advanced Hand to Hand / Defensive Tactics: This is a 4 hour class as well. You must complete the basic self defense class before attending this class. This class is more intensive and more in depth than the basic class.Cost per person is $50.00 with a minimum of 8 students for the class.
All hand to hand and defensive tactics seminars are taught by our Close Quarter Combat Consultant, Jeremy Harrison.
Private Training: $25.00 / hour
